Wes Clark WORE THE SHOES because he SERVED in COMBAT, and led successful military campaigns.

"put yourself in their shoes" ... indeed. What the fuck did Bill O'Reilly ever do? :eyes:

3. Let's use a little of BO's logic here. BO works for Fox Noise.
Fox Noise major stock holders are Rupert Murdock and Saudi Prince Al Walid bin Tahal. Fourteen of the identified 9/11 terrorist were Saudis. Terrorist money has been traced to the Saudis. Rudy Giuliani told Saudi Prince Al Walid bin Tahal to keep his money. But, BO takes Fox Noise's millions each year.

Personal attacks on George Soros can backfire when the same idiot logic applies to the attacker.

Rudy says stuff it

http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/10/11/rec.giuliani.prince/

And the talking point is---Soros funds himself; Fox Noise is funded by the Saudis. At least, that is my point. Without the Saudi Prince, vulgar ol' Rupert would be News Corp(se) History.

7. I think I heard O'Lielly agreeing with Clark at the end
that the troops had had bad leadership at the end--I think he was just agreeing because he wanted Clark OFF. :)

And when did O'Lielly condemn the swiftboaters? Don't recall that happening.

We've found out one thing--Bill is a bit shy at condemning generals who have been there, done that. Could it be that he's afraid even the dimwits with their yellow bumper sticker patriotism will realize that that isn't "supporting the troops"?

He is not afraid to confront the enemy. He is getting the message out to more people than most other spokesmen. He doesn't just preach a partisan message to a partisan crowd. The viewers are there and need a counter to the propaganda.

64. this is different than the election
The swiftboaters were election-time attacks that need to be answered. The people who watch O'Riely (sp) are the "backwash" who are applauding Bill for stickin it to the General. They are not listening to determine truth (or they would not be watching), but rather nodding their heads in lemming-like fashion at every cheap-shot and lie he tells.

I would appreciate discussion rather than smart-ass "sarcasm."

that he will work his ass off to help get Democrats elected, and to defend the Democratic perspective wherever he goes and whomever he talks to.

Maybe he's decided that he can do more good that way, then by getting into the mud wrestling pit that is the Democratic primaries.

I'm very glad that he's on our side though, and glad that he's making sure that FAUX viewers at least get a little exposure to alternative views.

Bill O'Lielly is a small petty vile little man who has nothing going for himself except he works for Fox News and says the things he does because someone is yanking his string and paying him big bucks. If someone said BOO BILL he would run like the coward he is right into a corner and cry. Wes Clark should just stay clear of Bill. Wes doesn't have to defend himself or George Soros to Billy boy. He's a joke...now I feel relieved. My tension is gone until the next time I happen to see loofah boy in a clip (cause I sure don't watch Fox News).

. . . that in addition to taking money from George Soros (which gives O'Reilly reason to "pick a bone" with the General), Clark is also taking money from Rupert Murdoch in exchange for his services to FoxNews.

Are we to assume that General Clark is as bought and sold by Rupert Murdoch as Mr. O'Reilly would have us assume he is bought and sold by George Soros?

You must see some of his other stuff - he is always, unfailingly, eloquently, super-intelligently - right-on!

Check his background, as well, beginning with graduating No. 1 in his class at West Point. This man is a fearsome intellect wrapped in a package of courage and honor and integrity, ideals and patriotism, as well as darn good looks, too. What a president he would be, one that we could all be so proud of, that our children could look up to.
