1. Rachel always hits the target on issues. She's the best!
Look for Economic Recovery House Meetings on the Obama website in your area for this weekend.

2. The more I see and hear Rachel the more
I think she has one of the best minds around. She asks cogent questions and has guests worth listening to.

3. I wish the media in general...
...would be presenting this split in the Republic party between the Congress in DC and the governors around the country. You know if the same schism existed within the Democratic party it would be played up all day and all night. But we aren't hearing that many voices pointing out that the Congressional Republics are screwing their own governors with their intransigence.

Thanks are due to Rachel on this.

5. Good ole Rachel
Clarity and precision of thought!

Man, she can assimilate all this misinformation and propaganda and most especially fallacies of reason and science. These fucking assholes are making all of us live in a life of horror seeing other friends and enterprises and customers in a state of perpetual fear.

Do your fucking jobs and spend the most on what is scientifically and historically proven to restart a frozen economy.

My companies general manager is due for another leased fleet vehicle. CANT GET IT UNLESS YOU'RE WILLING TO OVERPAY FOR A LEASE MORE COSTLY THAN LIST PRICE! People can't buy because of no credit. FROZEN.

And they dither and fret and pose and speak to their fucking base of shit heads while all of us are seeing our whole lives start to collapse around us.

FUCKING SOCIOPATHS.

6. Right wing nuts will put down FDR
Edited on Sat Feb-07-09 01:24 PM by livingonearth
saying that his spending projects didn't really bring us out of The Great Depression. They go on to say it took World War 2 to finally get us out. Well, what is a war if not massive government spending? Once again the wing nuts find a way to contradict themselves. Duh! It is as if they are saying FDR did not spend enough until the war came along.

7. aide to states
is an important part of the original bill - in my state with a republican governor, he is proposing a wage freeze for all teachers and state employees - not a wage freeze for people making over 500,000 or even people making over 100,000, but EVERYONE. This will also include cuts to every school district, which means many school employees and teachers losing their jobs.

Times will just keep getting worse instead of better, if we don't include aid to state governments.
