1. Bingo! Barney Frank shoved it right down their throats -
And what did Snuffy the whore say?

Oh, well that's a whole 'nother show.

God forbid we should debate the REAL FUCKING ISSUE!

S O B. I listened to the show today and heard Barney get off several one-line zingers like that. He really nailed those arrogant F'ers who only want money to go to big banks, insurance companies, and CEO's.

He's one of the brightest men in Congress, IMO.

28. And didn't they give Billions to the banks in the fall...
what did that do?
For the repubs, it always has to be from the top down, that way they're sure they'll get theirs and keep their buds happy.

31. I must say
It was nice hearing one of our Congressmen admit the truth of it. The DOD/Pentagon spending since WW 2 has been one of the primary reasons we are so deeply in debt, as well as something he didn't say, why we are so hated that a billionaire would use his money to affect a terrorist attack against us.

They focus so much on deaths, but rarely do they admit how wasteful the spending is. And did you notice how quickly Gregory went to shut him down. GE Makes good things for living, and makes good things for killin' too.

13. Hear Hear.
About damn time we said the obvious.

That slimy little weasel, Steph "That's a whole other program." No it isn't. It is EXACTLY the discussion, as is all the criminality on Wall Street. It is all about how special interests have been stealing our resources so we can't maintain bridges, provide decent health care, and educate our kids to compete in the new millennium.

The Dems all need to go to Barney Frank school and learn how to have these discussions, pronto.

11. War Is a Racket
We've known that for a century. 50 yrs ago the President warned us of the treat from our own military-industrial complex.

The military-industrial complex has been in power the last eight years.

26. Rep Frank is right
After eight years of Bush and the Republicans engaging in an orgy of unprecedented deficit spending, including their trillion dollar ME military boondoggles, it is inconceivable to me that the GOP now sees fit to try and obstruct a stimulus package which is only necessary because of their conspicuous fiscal mis-management.

29. That's right. To repugs there's no expense too great as long as we can declare a war on something.
But god forbid you should want the $$$ for anything else besides their pet projects. They've maxed out the credit cards and then some paying for a war in Iraq started on a lie.

Too bad though it's not Pelosi saying all this. Shouldn't that be the Speaker's job?
