1. Why Kaptur is not House Speaker or Majority Leader is beyond me.

I think we know why, but I'm just venting a rhetorical question. People like her know TOO much about things like the aid package to the banks, NAFTA and other things that impact our economy. The powers-that-be want to keep the Kapturs and the Kuciniches under wrap.

I was with Kaptur on a number of anti-NAFTA events when it was being debated in Congress. I would say that at least 95% of the things she warned about NAFTA then have come true today. How did she know so much? She didn't take those corporate junkets to Mexico, where they wined and dined you at some posh resort and show some propped up factory to sugar coat the situation in Mexico. She went to the maquilladoras and met face-to-face with factory workers who risked death by participating in such meetings. Kaptur showed me paycheck stubs of some maquilladora workers taking home about $15 for a 50-hour work week. Pictures of the raw pollution dumping into open streams in communities were shown. A crazy chicken that apparently had some of that polluted water ran up to Kaptur, coughed up blood and died at her feet. Wild stuff.

she is good. I have been totally impressed every time I have heard Marcy speak on the floor. My husband has been so awestruck by her that he has her picture on his office wall and donated to her campaign!

She said it in plain English, the entire mortgage bundling fiasco is a Ponzi scheme, i.e., FRAUD.

7. DOesn't Obama's Whitehouse Website have a public "suggestion box" on it somwhere

Haven't visited it yet but maybe its time to demand a replacement for Pelosi.
