4. XM Radio, over 65 million views on their youtube channel and counting, former Air America show
It used to be co-hosted by Ben Mankiewicz (currently hosting 'At The Movies') but now it's just hosted by Cenk Uygur:

"Cenk Uygur (pronounced jenk yoo-gur) is the main host of the liberal talk radio show The Young Turks. He was also the host of the internet interview show Meet The Bloggers throughout it's run.

The show currently airs on a number of places, including the morning drive on XM Satellite Radio's Talk Left, channel 167. Aside from airing on the radio, TYT has also made several online partnerships with media groups such as AOL News, TidalTV, and YouTube. The show's YouTube channel gets an average of 3 million hits per month.

Uygur is also a regular blogger on The Huffington Post and an attorney. He grew up in East Brunswick Township, New Jersey, where he attended East Brunswick High School.<1> He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Law School, and a former associate at the law firms of Drinker Biddle & Reath in Washington, D.C. and Parcher, Hayes & Liebman in New York City. He first became a talk show host at a Washington, D.C. radio station on the weekends while working at Drinker, before eventually shifting to full-time radio work."

13. The show is recorded (both audio and video) daily M-F. The first 2 hours of audio end up on XM
Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 08:20 PM by ihavenobias
the next day, while parts of the video are clipped out for youtube.

And the full 3 hour show streams live each day at theyoungturks.com (and then it repeats over and over again on a loop).

7. Well, duh! And there sat Dubya with a shit-eating grin.
Of course Jon Stewart's take was that Dubya was sitting there thinking "he's sure sticking it to Clinton." ;-)

8. Obama just told the truth. And since he used three syylable words telling the truth, I think it
most likely went right over George's head. They say ignorance is bliss. I would have liked a little bliss if I were George, sitting there listening to that speach.

9. He body slammed the Bush administration over and over imo.
It helps when you are right on every point. He is backing that up with action. Quickly. I loved it, even more so because that sniveling little twirp had to sit through it. As unual, another great analysis by TYT.

Haven't seen much about it in the msm.

14. To be fair to Barack there is no avoiding the stark comparison if we are taking a new direction. >
Edited on Wed Jan-21-09 08:18 PM by cooolandrew
I don't think he was directing straight to Bush himself, but defining his new path. Wow I am so glad we have things of large consequence to talk about again. Real politics bring it on. :)

19. IN a word
YES

and he did it cleverly and politely.

Basically Obama got up and said, "Bush sucked, the cavalry has arrived."
