3. The transcript says "almost 32 Israeli dead" - And I question that...
See Juan Cole:

...

Israel blames Hamas for primitive homemade rocket attacks on the nearby Israeli city of Sederot. In 2001-2008, these rockets killed about 15 Israelis and injured 433, and they have damaged property. In the same period, Gazan mortar attacks on Israel have killed 8 Israelis.

Remember what happened when Afghanistan was left over to its own devices?.. What was the name of that organization who get into power in 1996 again?:. Ah yes, Taliban it was...

And if the regime who US installed in Iraq are going to hell, as most "freethinkers" have been telling for the last couple of year now, a new style of Taliban, or worse, the AL-Qauda or other organization who have contact with Iran or something like that would take the power on a large part of the worlds Oil in the same prosess...

Be no surprised of the Iraqi Conflict is going to blow up in our collective ass in the future...

Diclotican

Sorry my bad english, not my native language.

6. ABC, CBS, and NBC are pulling their full-time correspondents out of Iraq?
Move along, move along, nothing to see here, move along.

I blame Rupert Murdoch, the champion of tabloid journalism, for much of the decline in the American news media. War correspondent used to be the highest status assignment you could get. And finding the truth used to be important, too.

As for history being kind to Bush, I agree. Future historians will say it was excessive for the Hague to sentence him to so many consecutive life sentences for war crimes. They could have been concurrent. Rove used the wrong analogy. Instead of Truman, he should have looked at Hoover, Johnson, and Nixon. Bush managed to combine the worst of all three. He's the Detroit Lions of Presidents.
