Teresa Heinz Kerry sponsored her annual Women's Health & The Environment Conference on April 20.
The conference was held in Teresa's home town of Pittsburgh, in honor of the Rachel Carson Centennial.

There was a lot of great content from some top notch scientists and scholars. That's kind of difficult to capture in a five minute video, so I went the other direction, and focused on the general feeling of the conference. It was a great time. Fran Drescher was funny, and Dr Hayes somehow managed to make biology fun.
Teresa says they're going to put all the presentations on the internet, so we'll have to keep an eye out. Don't miss Dr Hayes. Who knew frogs could be so fascinating?
