I still can't figure out why Repigs had their asses handed to them in the last two elections :sarcasm:

They really know how to read the pulse of the electorate.

(Also, what do these nutjobs do when they are invariably proven wrong?)

1. Thank ya, Jeebus!
With all due respect to our beleaguered Georgian DUers, this guy provides me with one more reason to thank Dog that I don't live in Georgia.

2. The good news is they seem to be embracing everything that made them lose
So they should continue to lose for years if not decades.

4. He keeps kicking the same porcupine
It must REALLY hurt by now, but he persists. Oh well, I say let him keep doing and repeating the same old tired crap, since it is clearly not connecting.

12. Most likely quite a bit higher than 130, he graduated Magna Cum Laude
from Harvard Law School.

I think the 130 guesstimate is a lower bound, i.e. it is saying his IQ is most likely more than 130.

http://www.kids-iq-tests.com/d-prez.html

Nowhere on the Internet can anyone locate Obama's IQ score. His college transcript from Harvard is not available and I cannot locate his GPA, his SAT score or his LSAT score or any other tangible proofs of his IQ score.

However, after doing a lot of research, these are the facts concerning Obama's LSAT score while attending Law School at Harvard University. We do not know his actual LSAT score; however, after much research, we found that the average LSAT score for all Harvard students is 171.

The percentile rank for an LSAT score of 171 at Harvard is 98.8 %.

Given that he graduated Magna Cum Laude, I would expect his LSAT score to be considerably higher than average for Harvard students.

His peers elected him as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review.

He was not an average student.

14. An IQ score measures how well someone scored on a ...
particular IQ test. It means something, but not nearly as much as people think. The different IQ tests don't even agree. There are many aspects to general intelligence that are not measured by IQ tests, e.g. emotional, social, musical, physical, and *ethical* intelligence. What an IQ test measures should be explained to people.

How someone does on a test can vary from day to day, depending on how alert or nervous they are at the time. There are too many situations where one test/game or whatever is used as a measure. For example in Japan, students need to do well on one particular test in school. If they happen to blow it, tough luck, and it affects their whole life. The pressure their is so stressful some commit suicide. It's not right.

I have found it unfortunate for me that being skilled in mathematics is overemphasized as a measure of intelligence. I think this overemphasis creates a hindrance to people understanding math and seeing the beauty of it (yes, there really is a beauty). When I tutored math I sensed people having a mental block.

I have sensed resentment towards me because I excel in math (an "Oh, so you think you're smarter than me, eh?" attitude). I have felt quite a bit of emotional pain due to what I consider to be almost bigotry. Mathematicians are often considered in general to be weird, crazy, and antisocial. People don't feel that way about someone who is skilled at, say, playing the violin. It would have been better for my social life if I excelled in music, sports, or wheeling and dealing.

Hello Bethesda!

15. I know exactly what you mean.
about the unfortunate ways of measuring intelligence, and the ways people can be. I'm not a mathemetician by a longshot but have my own peculiar kind of brain and I understand exactly what you're talking about.

The main thing I want to excel at nowadays is just being myself, being a human being, enjoying my life. It's going by very quickly.

is doing everything to demonize Barack then in the next breath Alex trys to say he's a good person. Alex is even the one telling folks to go out and buy all those guns. They are proper losing it some on the right. They are freaking me out, I suppose it's because they had power so long they are completely power crazed in some ways I nearly want them to keep it up. It should keep them out of power for a century. In others I want them to cut it out for safety and security.

9. This guy spoke at my kid's school.
My county had a 28% vote for Barack Obama. If I think about it too much, my head hurts. Luckily, we live near Athens and UGA and we go to a Church there that is pretty progressive.
Otherwise I couldn't handle it. My county newspaper is a constant source of dumbfoundedness. Gotta love rural Georgia! He beat Bobby Saxon. It is a shame. Bobby is an Iraq-war veteran who was running as a moderate democrat. The poor kid didn't have a chance. 28% for Obama. It is still shocking to me that I live here.
