Tuesday I still felt like it could be stolen away from us again - so, while I was estatic, I still had fears - big, genuine, fears.

I was afraid to go to sleep believing that when I woke up it would all be changed once again...

Now it has really happened.

From being fucking, astoundingly ASHAMED of my country for the past 8, no, 10 years, I am now PROUD once again of and for my country, for the first time in over 8 long years - even 12 years for what they did to Clinton.

for as long as I live I'll remember that night...Walking home from my friends' house and hearing fireworks, hoots and hollers, and shedding tears of joy at this historic election.

That part between 3:37 through 5:17 I just replayed over and over again.
Olbermann HAD to be the man to announce it for MSNBC. I know enjoy savored every word.
Plus I think MSNBC had the most dramatic music for the calling.

Each of us will remember this night for the rest of our lives.

I got a message on my answering machine from my parents, who have NEVER voted for a Democrat in their entire lives, including 2008. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqJutqE9FtY

We have had a really rough 8 years over POLITICS, try as I might to keep my mouth shut with them. I kept them appraised of Mr Clayz, my, and their 2 granddaughters antics canvassing for OBAMA. The listened patiently.

I am so glad they called on election night.
It was like a silk ribbon around the package of one of the BEST days of my life!
