I saw this at C&R this morning and thought it was a pretty good depiction of the message put out at a McSame an Failen Palin rally.
Republicans seem to have trouble with with their history lessons... they are always repeating them.

1. My parents used to listen to Chad Mitchell Trio
when I was small. I remeber this song well, although it was years before I understood it (although it was obvious from context that Birchers were kooky) It was nice to hear it again as it has been wafting out of my memory the last few weeks.

They also had a very funny song based on AA Milne's children's poem 'James James Morrison Morrison'.

Thanks for posting this.

2. I loved the CMT and I had some Alabama relatives who were Birchers.
And I remember the CMT song based on the AA Milne poem, too ..

James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupree
Took great of his mother, though he was only three.
James James said to his mother: "Mother," he said, said he.
"Don't ever go down to the end of the town if you don't go down with me.
Don't ever go down to the end of the town if you don't go down with me."

Now, James James Morrison's mother put on her golden gown.
And James James Morrison's mother, she drove to the end of the town.
James James Morrison's mother said to herself, said she:
"Well, I can get down to the end of the town and be back in time for tea.
Well, I can get down to the end of the town and be back in time for tea."
..

4. LOL!
James James Morrison's mother hasn't been heard of since
King John said he was sorry, and so did the queen and the prince
King John (somebody told me) said to a man he knew
If people go down to the end of the town, well what can ANYONE do?

Thank you! :hi:
