is the same "filter" that allows her to get national coverage for her rallies. It's not the fault of the media that they don't filter out her ridiculous statements in interviews such as the ones she made in the Couric, Gibson and Williams interviews. It seems to me that her problem isn't that the media is filtering her, but they aren't filtering her enough for her liking. I'd love for her to explain what she thinks the media is filtering that is somehow keeping her true message from getting out there.

The fact is that $150K was spent on clothing and accessories for her, her husband, her kids and her daughter's baby's father. The records show it. Where is the media filtering the "real" story? Just because this story displays the jaw-dropping greed and avarice of the Palin family doesn't make it false. It may be hard to believe based on the numbers - I mean, who can spend that kind of dough in a month - but facts are facts and the GOP isn't disputing them. The photo of Piper toting her Louis Vuittton handbag just added a nice visual to the whole scandal.

This "media filter" bullshit has been used by Bush throughout the last 8 years, and all it means is that the facts of a particular story are embarassing as reported.
