St Louis Blues goalie Manny Legace was injured during the puck dropping ceremony for Sarah Palin when he slipped on the red carpet she got to walk on.

Can someone please get her off the ice, or away from my favorite sport?

he wasn't paying attention, so no, it was in no way her fault. he was careless and paid for it.

however, after it happened, the coordinators of the ceremony pulled the carpet back while the players skated past to ensure nobody else would trip.

First of all, just so you know: Manny's last name is not pronounced 'La Gossy'. It's pronounced the same as the word 'legacy'. I know you mean well but dude you're making me wince a bit with that la gossy thing. Anyway....

Manny was a big fan favorite in Detroit. He's still very popular here. You'll never hear Wings fans boo him. That's a tough break for The Blues.

Bring Palin to Joe Louis Arena in the Deep Soulful Blue State of Michigan and let's just see who knows how to boo better, Wings fans or Flyers fans. I HEREBY CHALLENGE ALL NHL CITIES. Who can boo Palin the best??? GO WINGS!!!

i had a dude tell me that on another forum tbh so i feel kind of like a n00b on that one, esp being a hockey fan. i have always heard the harder pronunciation of Manny's name i thought, but it also is kind of late. the brain probably farted.

After what happened with Murtha and McCain here in western PA, i think the Penguins fans would probably lynch her. only i doubt we'd yell sexist or racist terms, or have Palin on a noose.
