Smarmy Gordon Smith has been trying to associate himself with Barack Obama and other Democrats for several months now. It was getting kind of insulting, but this sort of deal's worked for him in the past.

I'm in Maryland - no Senate race.

I'm a native and still-in-my-heart Michigander - no Senate race (Carl Levin is not in a "race.")

I loved the ad. Obama is pretty good, isn't he?
