There's a part of me that hopes McCain gets elected and the drive to win the election at all costs by his current supporters wears off. Then reality sets in. The economy worsens. The Iraq war continues to suck billions of dollars from the U.S. every month and more problems develop in this country as a result. And Palin will continue to show what a buffoon and phony she is and how she's in way over her head as VP and being only a heartbeat from President. Then, let's see how wonderful everyone thinks she is.

I really don't wish this on this country, but it's a very realistic scenario.

It's the same thing we went through with Bush. During the campaigns, people just loved his folksy, aw-shucks demeanor. Then, after eight years of lying us into wars and running our economy off the cliff, people started realizing what an idiot he is, except for the knuckledragging 20% who would support a Hitler/Mussolini ticket if it was Republican.

Palin probably does not believe that the people harmed and
killed at these clinics are "innocent Americans" -
because she believes abortion is murder, anyone getting or
performing an abortion is guilty of murder.  So those who bomb
the clinics are not terrorists, they're, I don't know,
crusaders for righteousness?!?

And Ayers is a terrorist by his own "admittance"? 
As in this ticket is good for one's admittance into the
theater?  Sarah, honey, I think the word you are looking for
is admission.

You're a "terrorist" if you bomb a building, but if you blow up people it's just "not condoned?" What a horrible person Palin is. What a stupid distinction to try and make. It's not edifices that matter in this country - or any other - it's the people. Yes, we have national symbols that have meaning to us, but it's the intent that gives you the classification "terrorist." Terrorists seeks to instill fear, panic, discord, disruption, and death.

Any person that throws a Molotov cocktail at an abortion clinic is just as much a terrorist in my book as someone that sets a bomb at the Pentagon. The scale shouldn't matter: the crime is the same.

Notice, in her definition of terrorist she kept going on about someone who attacks the capitol or the pentagon are terrorists. Ayers and Bin Laden are then terrorists by that definition (regardless of success in such goals in the case of Ayers) Abortion clinic bombers, since they are not attacking the capitol or pentagon are not terrorists.


So where does that leave the World Trade Center? It is not part of the government, not the capitol or pentagon.. it is just part of that leeebrul New York. So does attacking the WTC or New Yorkers count as terrorism? Or do they make an exception as it would be connected to big corporations.
