not "men/women" plural - which reinforces and justifies the "but it's just me - one person - and I can't change thihgs by myself" thought process, but more importantly places EVERYTHING squarely on the INDIVIDUAL that if the INDIVIDUAL doesn't take it upon his/her self - to take "OWNERSHIP" of a problem - then somehow, "others" and somehow only "MANY" others, will be able to changes something...then nothing will ever change...
