This was done in anticipation of the endorsement of Obama. He remains one of the most respected people in America. His record is better than some democrats, so let's embrace his endorsement.
He actually opposed the iraq invasion.
He always opposed the neocon chicken hawks.
He said torture was wrong.
He said to close Gitmo.
He said to investigate the lies leading to iraqi invasion.
He said the Bush admin mishandled the war.
He said Obama's approach on diplomacy is correct.
He criticized Mccain's handling of Russia/Georgia.
He is pro-choice, pro-affirmative action and even criticized Bush on katrina.
