1. Buchanan doesn't answer the question.
He knows Maddow is right.

3. The health of women and mothers is no more important to McInsane, and his rabid dog
Palin, then the well being of an incubator.

You women and mothers just don't matter to them.

10. pro-lifers don't care about embryos, they care about pregnancies
This is the only interpretation that fits their self-contradictory positions on things like in-vitro fertilization and stem cells -- like, IVF is fine as long as you're throwing away waste embryos in order to help someone get pregnant, but if you use those waste embryos for something else, you're evil. And every once in a while some anti-abortionist will admit in public that they're also anti-contraception. They don't want to save children, they want to save pregnancies.

5. Slightly OT
but watching this, I am overjoyed to be where we are today with Sen. Obama's campaign. I'd never dared to hope that my candidate would be up like this at this point. Yes, there are serious challenges remaining, be we are SO close! After having our guts stomped the last two elections, we are making the rightwing swine claw their at their own eyes with the horror of defeat! Yay, us! :bounce:

7. Buchanan: "Obama is moving towards liberal positions. Obama is moving towards the center."
Hey Pat, so you think the center is now liberal? I so wish Rachel had asked him that question.

8. Barack Obama is smack dab in the center on this.
WTF is Pat Robertson talking about?

It's interesting how Pat Robertson and Rachel Maddow debate eachother so respectfully. She lets Pat Robertson be Pat Robertson, and it works.

11. That's Buchanan, not Robertson
