This is important stuff... as you know Iran and US have been fighting a proxy war for decades in Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan. Iran was briefly on our side in public when our loyal Afghan militias whom the CIA created -- Al Qaeda and the Taliban -- turned on us in 2001. Now we are back to funding the Sunni radicals who support and constitute Al Qaeda cells, there is no top down structure it is cells, like in Lebanon. And threatening our "best enemies" in Iran. Bush the elder worked out a deal with the Iranian mullahs to ally with the Sunnis against them, in return both Iran and the West would have an enemy to rally against. So when 9-11 happened why was it committed by former intelligence assets, not Iranians? Could it be that our defense intelligence networks were playing with fire, trying to create enemies to mobilize the US against and vice versa, in order to prevent regime change in friendly Arab oil sheikhdoms? Why else would the Saudis have done exactly that: fund their mortal enemies, so long as they attacked us and not them?
