10. I found it posted on the Progressive Alaska blog

with the heading "From back when Sarah Palin was a member of the Wasilla City Council." Phil Munger, the blogger, is a longtime resident of the Mat-Su Valley and probably knows if it's genuine. I assume that it is since these meetings are probably recorded and public record, but I've left a comment asking him to confirm.

I believe it is. His rendering gives it a different sort of meaning, and he may be using some contractions.

I've been to Wasilla and Whittier City Council meetings that would have made this one seem rather complex and idea-chocked.

I have sat through city council meetings in a couple of cities. There is usually some sort of guest presentation by a choir or something and then serious business. But this??? I mean city council meetings of smaller communities in L.A. County are boring, but there is far more serious business to conduct than that nonsense. Surely that is not for real. dogs versus salmon? That was the most serious part of this thing. If it is an actual transcript, please tell me it was only a small portion of the meeting, not really the whole thing.
