2. Common Denominator?
Well said. From what I have seen, the ability to make an intelligent, cohesive argument that is supported by facts is one of the characteristics that I see consistently in the Obama campaign. They really seem to know the issues and give very knowledgeable, detailed, well spoken answers to questions. In the McCain campaign, I constantly see arguments based merely on opinion, with no facts whatsoever. Many of the points that I see trying to be made are to convince me that up is down, white is black, etc. and I guess those can not be supported by facts because there are none.

There is such a vast difference between not just the candidates, but the people behind the candidates and on so many levels.

5. It's the most basic differentiating factor between the parties nowadays
The Democratic Party is about identifying policies that address reality; while the Republican Party continues to push policies in support of an ideology, reality be damned.

3. I love hearing her.
She was also one of Kerry's advisers in 2004.

4. Gotta love that woman.
It's so refreshing to be hearing from someone whose responses seem to be grounded in reality, and is so well-versed. I'm only sorry that Samantha Power hasn't found her way back into the fold, yet. (Or has she?)

9. She was impressive. It is so nice to hear smart people getting
the chance to speak to the media again after the last eight years of listening to Bush and his flunkies embarrass us as a nation every time a microphone is placed in front of them.

Susan Rice would make one hell of a Secretary of State.
