Damn good idea! Everybody paying attention? You should not only help one or two other people to register, make sure you're registered yourself, and check out the i.d. requirements. Over the last few weeks, I've seen other threads talk about how some states now require i.d. or even picture i.d. They urged the DU community to help voters without driver licenses get photo-i.d. at license issuer offices.

I would hate to people do all this registration and GOTV work only to have thousands turned away at the polling stations because they didn't bring i.d.

3. Register people at work and every weekend

I work in a very impoverished community and have registered 7 of the residents. And then every weekend when I lead a group out canvassing we have been brining in at least 8 registration forms per weekend. This Saturday is the last day to register in SC in order to vote in November.
