She learns real quick, and she will have fine-tuned her skills with all that practice at debate camp. Man, I know she's ready. And she's such a fighter. OMG! She will leave Biden writhing on the floor. Oh yes, she will be tough to beat. She could whoop Obama, Biden, and McCain all at once, with her eyes closed, her glasses off, and her AK47 tied behind her back! I'm so SCARED! WTH ARE WE GONNA DO????????!!!!

She's dug the whole too deep. There's no way to artificially raise expectations. But even if she manages to remain coherent and demonstrate she's learned something since the Gibson and Couric interviews, there's no way she can convince America she's ready at this point.

Personally, I'm hoping to see a high-pitched hissy fit, running off-stage in tears, or long moments of awkward silence where she tries to comprehend the question. Actually that would be great. If she obviously doesn't know what to say, Biden can step in and save her from some embarrassment. That way he comes off more knowledgeable and like a true gentleman.

but not that questionable. She's become the laughing stock of everyone but a fraction of the rapture-ready, gun-lovin', homo-hatin', fetus-lovin, quasi-literate base.

Biden is surely well-informed of John McCain's stance on all the issues. Even if Palin can't manage to include a noun and a verb in a single sentence the entire night, he'll debate her as if she had answered as McCain would. I think the best way to handle this is for Biden to treat her like a respectable opponent, and let the media butcher her responses.

My question to Sarah Palin: we know you can field-dress a moose, but can you skin and quarter the English language after you butcher it?
