1. This Is SUCH An Important Point

It's critical that this election be framed as something beyond just a repudiation of Bush. After all, he's gone in January no matter what. The big win for Democrats (and for the country) lies in making it clear that it's the whole Republican philosophy of government that's to blame. That is the foundation we need to put in place if we want to secure an entire new generation of progressivism.

what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."

A wise man once said that. It seems like it takes on a new meaning today. The right wing fringe of the Republican Party have been asking what the country can do for corporations and the rich, and never once what they can do for the country. Their philosophy for decades now has been all about selfishness and greed. And once again, the data says that experiment has failed.
