1. Is it trying to be cheap or something worse

a depressed solider that is given too much medication and is unsupervised - they have to know the huge risk of suicide - unless they are banking on him taking his life. As horrible and sick as it sounds a dead solider is a lot cheaper to take care of both in the short term and the long term. No more medical costs and no more 'blemish' on the military.

one less person to have to f$$$ with the GOP's image and the way we see the war, sorry, occupation. This is no war. I am so sick of people saying "support our troops" Damn it, we need to "SAVE" our troops.
