2. My grandson played for the same Holy Rosary CYO school team

as did many of the neighborhood kids......Sadly, Holy Rosary school closed it's doors last spring; So, no football team this season.

5. To the GP. I saw Biden and shook his hand today. I'm in love!

Biden was awesome. All the women were straining to get just a glimpse of him before he made his way to the stage.
He was being kept behind SS and just grinning away at us. He knows how to work a crowd. He said I had beautiful eyes, LOL!

Biden makes campaign stop in Canton

CANTON: Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden told a crowd outside the Pro Football Hall of Fame this morning that Republican Sen. John McCain would be a ''sequel'' to President Bush.

''As you know, the sequel's always worse than the original,'' he said, drawing laughter from the several thousand people standing on artificial turf.

Biden's Canton rally was part of a two-day bus trip through northern Ohio. The Delaware senator was to stop at an Akron union hall this afternoon before heading to Youngstown for another rally.

The campaign gave out about 2,500 tickets for the Canton event, but people were still standing in a long line as the rally began.

Biden briefly paused during his remarks as a person in the audience held up a sign that read, ''Abstinence Only is Phony Baloney.''

He asked security not to take the sign, adding, ''I happen to agree,'' and told the sign-holder they'd talk later.
