1. couple of problems I would like to

point out with that video, the most obvious of which, would be it's source... Russia Today? Now there is a very reliable source for all things Georgian.

also, I don't see the .50 cal fire at all... I see someone's hand on the trigger a lot, but the box stays shut, and the rounds don't move.

It may well be what it says it is, but it could be anything.

4. watch it again

Between 1:20 to 1:24, the number and position of the chain of heavy rounds you can see in the lower right quarter of the frame clearly changes, after a sudden camera shift which appears to be caused by the rebound of a shot fired.

At 1:20 you can see just three and part of a fourth round stretched in a tight straight line, at 1:30, the number of visible rounds is six and they form a half circle arching down. My impression is that shots are being fired from the tank manned by the cameraman at 0:20, 0:31, 0:44, 0:58, 1:09, 1:23 and around 2:00 minutes into the video.
