1. Thanks for the link
Obama did well

But what was OReilly talking about right after the interview when he said "We hope Novak dies, somebody's in hell." Bizarre

2. Contrast this with the media policy of McSame.
He simply refuses to answer questions from people he doesn't like, and he's holding Palin to essentially the same standard. This, too, is judgment.

3. O'Reilly is just rude. I understand his schtick. But he's just plain rude.
That being said, I'm glad he's giving Obama the opportunity (as much as he lets him speak without interruption, anyway) to answer these questions. He can get more info out there in a setting like this than quick on-the-fly questions from reporters.

4. The disrespect is intentional, treating him like a presidential candidate
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 10:43 PM by L. Coyote
would be too admit he will be President. O'Reilly has serious denial problems.

I'm being kind, I know!

5. Has he ever interviewed McCain, do you know?
If so, was he as much of a jerk? Thanks.

7. You are being to kind. O'Reilly is an idiot,
his show is one big commercial for whatever "O'Reilly" junk he's pushing.

6. Better the asshole should go back to the showers.
I can't stand this prick! Nor can I stand Fucks news. O'bama would have better spent his time in Ohio.

8. If I Didn't Support Obama Before
I certainly would now, just for having the intestinal fortitude to sit across from this narcisistic idiot. Because, that Ladies and Gentlemen is a real testament to guts!

11. Intestinal Fortitude Scratches the Surface
He came back! Time after time after time, he would NOT let O'Reilly redefine him or his positions.

Gawd, he's good. It's funny... if Hillary had won, a part of me would want him for Secretary of State. I think he's really got what it takes to make people stick to the issues, and not go off on tangents.

9. He gets it! He really gets it.
Obama has all the intricacies down. McCain can't see the difference between Iraq, Iran, and Russia.

12. I think
Obama did well... Of course the idiot oliely tried to get him to say he made a mistake by not supporting the surge but most of the neocons cant understand that if Obama had his way there would have been no war to surge for... Its hypothetical politics...

14. Wow
Obama handled himself very well, considering how Bill tries to trap, misdirect, put words in people's mouthes, cuts people off, and refuses to give an inch to his opposition. However, I am a bit nervous about how happy he is about the what's coming for the rest of the interview. O'Reilly has been more fair to Obama recently than with anyone I've ever heard him be (other than Repugs), and my suspicion was either to bait Obama on the show to hammer him, or to build credibility for himself of being fair, because he has a 25 part series coming up called the Obama Chronicles, which supposedly will tell you everything you need to know about Barack. :eyes:

Now, time for McCain or Palin to go visit Keith-O right???? :applause:

15. O'Reilly doesn't seem to understand what the surge is
or the differences in the Middle East. It's tough to make a point when you have a guy interrupting you, who doesn't fully grasp what he's asking about. Al-qaeda would tale over and use Iraq as a base? Not a chance. Sunni AQ would not take over Shia Iraq, no way. AQ fighters were not more than a few thousand that we know of in the country, they would not overthrow 15 million Shia. Just ridiculous to say that. But he seems to think they are all part of something together, just appalling to think that.
