I thought I had heard there would be a video intro for her, but it never happened... because Rudy wouldn't shut up! God, that man is desperate for attention.

Not playing the video really hurt Palin's chances with me: without any sort of personal background (granted, the video is silly, but still it's more than we got all weekend), when she just launched right into her ridiculous attack speech, I was lost and thought, "well, it's just politics as usual with these people...they really missed their chance!"
