5. That would be a bit too heavy handed for American viewers

An uninsured friend of there getting cancer is a good touch.

No one in America should have to ask "He's insured, isn't he?" That we ask such a question is a wake up call. Privatized medicine doesn't work. That's why no nation with "socialized medicine" is switching to what right ring radio hosts, Republicans and other occupational liars hail as "the best medical system in the world."

Maybe it will sink through some of the thick skulls in this nation of morons that peoples' lives are being DESTROYED by medical bills.

Even in the best of situations, it often comes down to medicine or medical care versus food/utilities/recreation/etc.

Just one minute. I'm all for redemption, rehabilitation, making something you've done wrong right, and so on, but is their message right? "...bring everyone to the table?" I don't think so. One group of stakeholders with vested interests should be given NO place at the table. The insurance companies! They've made this growing mess much worse, and they should be banned from the debate on the future of health care. That was Hillary's biggest mistake in all of this, her well intentions, which unfortunately backfired. As far as the insurance companies go in the Health Care debate, Fuck'em!
