CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA -- Here's what Barack Obama said at the top his remarks on energy security:

"We want to have a serious debate. But so far, we've been hearing about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. I do have to ask my opponent: is that the best you can come up with? Is that really what the election is about? Is that worthy of the American people? Even the media has pointed out...that McCain has fallen back into ... predictable political attacks and demonstratively false statements... Spending all this time talking about me instead of talking about what he's going to do. That's not going to lower your gas prices. That's's not going...to help you find a job if it's been shipped overseas. It doesn't do a single thing to help the American people. It's the politics of the game. But the time for game-playing is over. That's why I'm running for President."....

How can ANYONE think McCain would be a better leader of our country?! I keep seeing the polls and hearing reports saying that the race is relatively close and I cant believe it. Its got to be the media just wanting it to be close for higher ratings. Or maybe we ARE just stupid Americans.

Finally! A Democrat who flings the poo right back at the Republicans, and spotlights
the fact that this slop is a reflection of the Republicans low tactics--and says NOTHING
about Obama or the Democrats.

McCain and his henchmen thought they were so clever. Grown men and women actually sat around
a board room and decided to compare Obama to Spears and Hilton--and they thought they could
make a dent in Obama's popularity by suggesting that he's no better than those two tarts.

How moronic.

As Obama points out--so astutely--this brazen foolishness is a reflection of McCain and his
slovenly campaigning and stupidity.

Throw it right back at the fools who put their energy into writing and crafting this nonsense.

This juvenile behavior is about McCain, and the outlandish, dumb things he will do to win an
election.

Obama makes that clear, and he ends up looking above the fray--while McCain looks like a doddering
old fool.

It's about time that a Dem fought back and catapulted the propaganda right back in their laps--by
denigrating these absurd, bizarre antics!
