3. When will it end?

We had 75% of the nation willing to back impeachment in 2006, and the most impeachable administration in history, and Pelosi and Reid completely chickened out. I was hoping that was one thing instead of a trend, but it's a trend.

It's enough to make me consider not even voting. What's the use of voting for Democrats who completely cave to Republicans when they have the majority and the country would back them? How are they any different than Republicans? They don't make any difference. Bush and the Republicans get what they want, all the time, every time. A difference that makes no difference is no difference. Voting for someone like Pelosi is just exactly like voting Republican - she gives them every single thing they really want in the name of "unity" or some other stupid shit like that.

I suppose that I will go ahead and vote, but it won't do any good. I used to tell people who voted independent that protest votes didn't do anyone any good. I'm beginning to feel like the only good that comes from voting Democratic is knowing that I didn't vote Republican, but it's like a protest vote. It does NO good.
