Jack Markell is a rather progressive Democrat in the state of Delaware. He is the current state Treasurer, and is running to upset the establishment candidate that is LT. Gov. John Carney. After the past eight years of the Minner-Carney administration Delaware is eager for change. Jack Markell is that change!

those of us who've been around for awhile may remember an episode of "Taxi" in which the Rev. Jim Ignatowski fulfilled his dream -- a full wall of television monitors so he could watch anything, anytime, anywhere . . .

as his friends were about to leave after seeing his "dream," they all paused as one particular monitor caught their eye . . . what was being televised was a session of the Delaware legislature debating whether residents of that state should be called "Delawareans" or "Delawarites" . . .

never did find out the results of that debate . . . are you sure about "Delawareans?" . . .
