Keith reports on the recent ridiculous statement coming out of Karl Rove calling Barack Obama a "country club kind of guy" and Lindsey Graham's statement about Obama on Meet the Press about Obama's "lost innocence". Howard Fineman weighs in.

I am pretty sure he describes a trip with one of his assistants/friends in The Audacity of Hope, where they took a golf tour through rural Illinois. If I am not mistaken, the Superman picture is from that trip.

How much he plays these days is prob another matter. Can't be much.

Poor pudgy Carl wasn't cool, and hates everybody who was.

In an interesting sorta way, the target audience of this message will get it. Although the James Bond image is a little weird to use, Carl can't use the image he is really trying to convey. All those Country Club members (like my father) will think of the time they had to watch other unwanted interlopers at their Club....not McCool ones, but blacks, maybe a Jew or two or an Asian! It's another appeal to racism. Reminding everyone who cares about it that Obama is black. He used to not be able to be a member of your Club. Remember?
