I lived on Nelson ave. in the Bronx. What sucked about this, is that the stores in my neighborhood that were destroyed never came back.

the picture in the papers that I never forgot was one of a man who owned a sporting goods store sitting on a crate with his hands buried in his head as the store he owned was completed looted.
