2. she's not alone.
considering how few companies and corpserations now control the airways, lackluster talent like hers would be the second to go.

3. She should be. She's been getting away with unopposed lies for years.
Imagine if the truth were not just permitted but actually required?

4. ALL of them are speaking out against it. But if you noticed, not
one talk show host speaks out for it, because those who would benfit from it are not allowed to speak over the air.

6. They know their lies are going to be demolished
If the Fairness Doctrin was brought back.

BTW - it looks like she's has some 'work' done on her face - she looks almost oriental her eyes are pulled back so tightly.
Shades of Joan Rivers!

7. Think about this for a second...

The last three big names that Fox News hired (to my knowledge):

Karl Rove
Mike Huckabee
Laura Ingraham

Yes, that's incredibly Fair And Balanced. Just remember that fact that next time some meathead insists that Fox IS fair or that they are only "center right" to balance out the so called liberal media.

PS---Lately I've heard conservatives say that CNN is super liberal. I challenge them to name ONE "liberal" with his/her own show. Someone said Anderson Cooper but when pressed couldn't give an example of his supposed over the top liberalness. I responded by pointing out that Glenn Beck, blatant right wing hack, has his own show on CNN.

11. The fundagelicals are freaking out over this, too
They're worried that if the Democrats get control of the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives one of the first things President Obama will do is push for the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine. Of course, they also believe the MSM is dominated by liberal voices already, which is laugh-out-loud stupid, considering the way the press has unrelentingly kowtowed to Bush these past 8 years.

18. Intersting
Interesting in that Ingraham didn't even brooch the historical relevance of the fairness doctrine.

What a worthless bit of scum.

Pity though that she propped up Diane Feinstein as one of the fairness doctrines champions. I would have preferred a REAL liberal. Of course this is everything that is wrong with not having time for different opinions. A false dichotomy created by Big foxy brother. Hate to Emmanual Foldstein. Etc Etc Etc...

19. These idiots want their own fairness doctrine re: ID Theory
They think that creationism should be taught alongside evolution, or replace evolution entirely, in the classroom.

The problem in the case of media is that people with big money want a right wing message of subservience to corporate rule broadcast and they can pay for it. That's why a fairness doctrine is important in this instance.
