Is it happening to everybody, or is there something wrong with my computer?

6. "Iraq helps us with Iran..."
WTF exactly is the problem with Iran? We always hear about evil Iran and how we are going to have to deal with them at some point, but no one ever asks why!

I listened to Ahmedinejad at Columbia and elsewhere and he never said a thing about attacking the US or any other western country.

Even with regard to Israel, which he clearly is not a fan of, the quote we always hear is that it should be "wiped off the map," but when he was challenged to explain, he said that the fate of Israel should be decided my a referendum of all the inhabitants of the Palestinian territories; Jew, Muslim, whatever. Obviously not what Israel wants to hear, but it certainly isn't the nuclear (nucular) strike the media/politicians are painting it to be.

I'm not saying what a great guy he is or that I would invite him round for tea, of course he is one of the many terrible leaders around the world and an 11th century knuckle dragger, but I fail to see why we must go to war with Iran tout-de-suite!?

That's the last f'in thing we need.

13. I'm baffled as well --
The NIE said they weren't pursuing nuclear weapons. The NEW NIE they wouldn't even release.

Regardless, they probably are pursuing that route, but it's not as though they HAVE any weapons at the ready -- or are even close.

The way they've been beating the drum on this makes it sound like they've got us in their sites and are ready to push the red button. :eyes:

7. Such a loser! I would be ashamed to be represented by this whimp.
He is becoming so utterly transparent and ridiculous. Hope the people in N or S Carolina are proud of this pussy. What a loser!

8. I want to throttle Brian WIlliams.
Did he LISTEN to what Biden was saying about Afghanistan? Did he NOTICE that Biden contradicted Graham's statement that Petreaus said Afghanistan is the place to get Al Q, not Iraq as Graham claims Petraeus says?

No. He interrupted to ask Biden about his VP aspirations!

He was just ticking off the items on his list - it was insulting to both Biden and Graham.

What Biden didn't say here, but I've heard him say before, is that he asked for $150 billion over three years time, for Afghanistan. HE WAS TOLD WE DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY (while we spend what, $3 bil a WEEK in Iraq?)

Now, there have been more casualties in Afghanistan than in Iraq!

http://atlanticreview.org/archives/1093-More-Combat-Deaths-in-Afghanistan-Than-in-Iraq.html

Biden has been beating the drum about Afghanistan for a long time, but this administration doesn't listen. Can you imagine getting your foreign policy advice from Cheney or Rumsfeld or Rice instead of Biden? Insane.

:grr:

16. Agreed! Williams was awful.
He kept harping on Obama changing his mind on campaign financing, yet Biden kept trying to talk about
all of McCain's flip-flops but Williams wouldn't let it go.

ugh!
