1. Ooh! I'm not going to spoil my surprise when I run my DVR tonight!
But nice to know there's a reason to watch all of "Verdict"
this evening.

9. Fabulous
Any man that can make Pat Buchanan get that "oh, crap" look on his face is a rare and priceless gem.

Had no idea who Lawrence O'Donnell was so I looked him up on trusty old Wikepedia:

"Lawrence O'Donnell, Jr. is an MSNBC political analyst who has appeared on "The McLaughlin Group" and "The Al Franken Show".

He was also an Emmy Award-winning producer and writer for the NBC series "The West Wing" and creator and executive producer of the late NBC series, "Mister Sterling". He also appears as a recurring supporting character on the HBO series "Big Love", portraying an attorney."

Interesting....

13. Its rather an overstatement
that Pat was 'humiliated.'

He recognized the incongruity, and apologized. The remainder of the show was interesting and informative.

And Buchanan's still on because he's smart, sometimes funny, and sometimes right. and NOT NASTY, like the others. (Differs from the way he was in the past.)

14. "NOT NASTY, like the others"
Yes, you're right. He's a regular Prince Charming. "The way he was in the past" is obviously a reference to the post-Mar 12th, 2008 Pat Buchanan...right?

Buchanan flips out, tells guest to ’shut up!’»

Tonight on MSNBC’s Live with Dan Abrams, guests Pat Buchanan, Rachel Maddow, and Keli Goff discussed the role of race in Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. Buchanan suggested Obama is winning the black vote simply because he is black. Goff countered that Obama has won states that have small populations of African-Americans. As Goff spoke, Buchanan grew more agitated, ultimately lashing out. “Shut up for a second please!” Buchanan yelled. Watch it: http://thinkprogress.org/2008/03/12/buchanan-flips-out-tells-guest-to-shut-up/

“Pat, I’ve been on TV with you a million times,” Maddow said to Buchanan. “I’ve never heard you tell anyone to shut up before. That was absolutely, completely ridiculous of you.”

15. I might have said 'shut up,' too;
unfortunately abrams does not run a 'neat' show; there are LOTS of unterruptions. And the woman spoke VERY fast.

If that's his worst in recent history, its ok with me.

16. Fact check:
They were talking about Geraldine Ferraro's comments concerning Barack Obama and how he wouldn't be in a formidable presidential candidate if he was a white man or if he was a woman. Also, the idea that Obama is priveledged, in this country, to be a black man was also discussed.

That is why the black woman commenting on "Verdict" was talking so "quickly" - she was upset.

Oh, and that's also why it was so offensive for Buchanan to tell the commentator to "shut-up," because Buchanan was in the process of defending Ferraro's vitriol.

18. Please tell me that once the primary is over
that Hillary supporters will stop defending Pat Buchanan. If Charles Manson starts saying nice things about Hillary will we start hearing about his "crazy man charm"?
