1. Ronald Reagan didn't even like the little prick did he?
IIRC they didn't talk for like the last 20 years of Ronny's life. And I could say something about Michael not even being Ronald's son, but I won't.

6. Oh, You Don't Have To Say It....
...but I will!

Mr. Reagan is adopted. Patti and Maureen must have had a ball with this in the early years (Ron Jr. didn't come along until much later).

But then, that may actually explain WHY Mike is such a prick now.

14. Jesse makes a lot of sense a lot of the time.
I lived in MN when he was elected governor. I didn't like the way he handled the state employees' strike (but had a personal bias there), but he did a lot of cutting through BS of the divided legislature. I think he helped wake up the MN DFL.

I know he can join in on some wacko 9/11 theories or whatever, but it's more a sign of an unusually open mind than anything else. He's a celebrity ego trip too, but I'd rather seem him in elected office than 90% of the GOP.

And I LOVE to hear him rip on Norm Coleman. Remember, he kept Norm shop-for-a-political-job Coleman out of the Governor's seat there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minnesota_gubernatorial_election%2C_1998 Coleman would have lost the Senate race too if Wellstone hadn't been killed.

5. Why run on a proven failed policy?
What I cannot fathom is why McCain is running on Bush's proven failed foreign policy that the majority of Americans are against. Normally this would be political suicide. The neo con hawks absolutely do not listen to any dissent, even if it is based on fact.
There is something deeply disturbing about McCain's Bush-style disconnect from reality, it is that whoever sits in the WH is really only the puppet, who cares if he has a coke addled brain or is in early stages of dementia.
I think that the creepy feelings I get about this will only go away when I am sure we will have fair elections.

17. I think your creepy feelings are justified. Just tonight I noticed in a McCain clip
that he's got that strange jaw twitch Bush often has. Maybe it's something they put in the water.

7. There is one thing I like about Jesse Ventura
I do like that he has consistently made the point that career politicians are bad for the Government and that you should do a couple of terms or so, and go back home instead of milking it forever and walking away with millions of dollars.

8. There's a lot to like about Jesse
He's bright, genuinely served his country during time of war, a genuine straight talker and utterly fearless.

Sadly, none of those have to do with his politics...

11. Was is Michael Reagan on prime time national TV?
Why is Glenn Beck?

Why is Fox News?

Why is an "ideology" that have fallen flat on its face in both theory and practice still given anything near equal time?

15. Jesse was great when he told Reagan to stop bragging about visiting a hospital
and go enlist.

It's pathetic how many high paying jobs seem to be available for low IQ conservatives (particularly if they are white males). My cat has higher level reasoning skills than Michael Reagan.

18. LOL! Loved the doll.
Mikey thinks he's going to be cute and maybe get Jesse to soften a little bit, but Jesse just stares at him and practically growls. Hilarious.

There are times I really like Ventura and there are times I don't. This was one of the times that I wanted to kiss him. I was quite impressed with the restraint he showed when he kept getting talked over by that obnoxious fool. If Ventura would just get over his Libertarian economic views I'd totally get behind him. He actually does have some very good things to say from time to time, and I like his manner.
