5. Kick - Come on, this is the BEST movie I have ever seen on

homosexuality, the phenomenon, the destructiveness of typical church attitudes, the pain of coming out, the joy of families supporting each other, the reality of gay bashing, the dumb literal reading of the Bible, the anguish of gay suicide, the hopefulness of working together for justice and kindness, the triumph of caring people over bigots, and the science of sexual alignment.

Great stuff.

Desmond Tutu adds credibility to any doubters.

I wish I could find the 60 Minutes interview with Gene Robinson from a couple years ago. It was just brilliant. The catholics and bible thumpers can have the Prada wearing Pope. Gene Robinson is MY POPE!

Really wonderful stuff. I have a few friends and relatives who are gay. I hate always sending them "gay" articles and items, but this is really a humane, terrific movie. And it puts things in perspective re: religion in a very smart, scholarly way.
