But there has been a thread on DU on this very 'Political Videos' forum this past week about the contributions Obama has received from the big oil companies. You could check that out. You might also want to look into something called the CitiGroup.

You see, there is a difference between PAC and Lobbyist donations and donations from PEOPLE who happen to work in the oil/insurance/etc... INDUSTRIES.

When we donate, we have to list our employer and industry and it is classified.

PACs and Lobbyists are both registered -- because of FEC laws.

Obama has not taken any money from PACs or lobbyists. Hillary has and defends that practice.

The burden of proof is on you to show where this is a false statement, and here's a heads up -- if you CAN prove it, you will be able to prove him in violation of the law which is punishable by fines and in cases, imprisonment.

that the responsibility to prove something falls to the one making the assertion. I've never known the game to go: I make assertion sans evidence and demand anyone disagreeing to provide the evidence that substantiates my point. Nor does the game go: I make evidence free assertions and demand those who disagree to DISprove it.
