Cenk was off yesterday so former co-host Ben Mankewiecz filled in.

Speaking of the presidential candidates, Obama was 100% right in his "bitter" comments: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=5501686&mesg_id=5501686

And finally, McCain is NOT a moderate: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=389&topic_id=3157946&mesg_id=3157946

PS---You can always watch TYT Live from 3-5 pm ET, with a Rolling Post Game 5-7 pm daily Monday-Friday at www.theyoungturks.com (both shows include a live chat). The RPG often contains political talk but also many non-political topics to lighten things up (and yes, that audio may not necessarily be work-safe).

Also, if you can't watch live, the 3-5pm portion of the show (politics) streams the rest of the day, all day right after the Post Game Show ends leading up to the initial show at 3pm.

2. firstly hubby big deal gun owner as is father and both voting obama.
saw sticker today with obama, being in panhandle of texas, i am sure they are too. everyone likes guns here.

so dude, you are wrong and quit saying

the easiest way to express this is the voting on wedge issue like gun, religion and immigration instead of economic reason to their advantga. and the bitter is they vote against interest cause they dont think washington will do anything

the man totally missed the point and boxed obama voters, both not terrific for us. so they might ought to think a tad too, before talking

3. I'm an Obama Supporter
and gun owner and didn't read as much into this as you, apparently. I took it as a put down to HRC.

5. of course it was. but i also see the same message presented even by our people
people supporting, that hurts our candidate. i watched the same with kerry. even when people were supporting him, finally, the few, they would be off point that would quietly leave damage.

it is good for the dems to recognize that obama can get gun owner votes so dont paint him as if he cant. that is just basic interaction 101

and this was referring to wedge issue, that strongly needs to be pointed out so it will not continue the feed of being elitist. one of the more subtle ways of addressing it

what we say matters. as obama sees.

4. I disagree. He was totally right actually!
I should be fair though and say I had trouble reading and understanding your post so maybe that is my fault? I am just basing this on what I think you are trying to say.

7. I really couldn't answer your post to me
as I really couldn't understand what you were trying to say. I do believe that Obama can get votes from avid gun owners. As I said, I'm one and my family in PA are all avid gun owners......and are voting for him. No offense, but what are you getting at, as you're confusing me.

8. and the guy on the clip said he couldnt. hence me saying
he shouldnt box obama voter in. i think there is an opportunity for obama to get the gun owner vote too. not all. but we dont have to reinforce that obama cannot get the avid gun owner vote. i dont think it is smart
