Going to Freeport, Grand Bahamas on Saturday. Is there anything

noteworthy to see or do there? Friends have a timeshare and invited us for a few days. I'd be content with hanging on the beach, but if anyone knows of anything interesting to check out, let me know, and thanks.

1. Ah Freeport, my daughter and I went in 1994
when she was a youngnin' -- hair braids honey?

We stayed at a hotel that was imploded to make way for expansion of the casino. We joked that it was the room with a cesspool view. Seriously, there was a water treatment plant right underneath our hotel window. Hopefully they've figured that all out by now, 12 years later.
