Just watched Bobby: NAM protests, AFSCME local 169 was there

Marta and I finally watched the film "Bobby". We give it two thumbs up. In the first minute of the the film there are clips of war protests. One clip clearly shows an AFSCME local 169 banner next to a huge peace sign in a march. That really made an impact on me. Unions during the Nam era were just before my time. I always heard labor of the time was flag waving bigots. If you watch this great film, watch the opening segment for the banner. Thank you local 169 for being there so long ago. A good friend former Actor David Macklin was in the ballroom when Senator Kennedy was shot along with several others.
