These low rent employers sure think they are mighty important these days. Three years ago they were hiring illegals without even checking their background. I just started working as a daytime porter and no kidding, they made me do more crap and jump through more hoops than for a civil service job.

2. Yeah I know but I just started a janitor job
And it was more exhausting than getting a civil service job. Pays $10 an hour though which is enough to pay the bills.

3. Master of custodial services perhaps...
I think that the ad is poorly written and they actually mean something other than a master's degree...

4. I work for a major oil company
at minimum wage $7.40/hr. Graduated magna cum-laude. Had to go though a criminal background check, driving records, credit record and they called all of my references. I work nights alone in a gas station on the interstate. Handle large amounts of cash. Seems every clerk that has ever been robbed has been fired the next day for having too much cash in the till. Only allowed a hundred bucks in the till, while people pay for fill-ups with fiftys and hundreds. I'm retired on a pension. I don't think anyone could live on what I make.
I laugh at those oil company adds about not taxing their profits so they can bring great jobs to the communities they serve.
