Burn your union card. Check what has happened around the globe to union members after a coop! Something a union president pointed out to me 30 years ago is still true today.

1. I had not heard they were plotting an armed insurrection...
Winning is not overthrowing the government.

And they may, if they have enough of a majority, pass some onerous laws, but that is about all, unless the take over the government by force of arms.

At that point, we are no longer the U.S. of A.

2. I think you mean a coup, not a coo --
I mention this, Steve, only because the message is blurred by the wrong word. The way you spelled it is the way it's pronounced.

4. I stand corrected

My editor ( Marta) has already called it a night. She works a 1/2 day tomorrow. My regular days off are Fri-Sat.

3. The Tea Party just donated millions to the US Chamber of Commerce

They aren't going to be over-throwing anything other than their next beer.

Besides, they want a militant corporate theocracy, which is inline with the status quo narrative.

5. Hopefully more and more Americans are waking up to what the tea party is about and
will not vote for them in the midterms.

6. I can guarantee you if that happens

it will not be a one way blood bath. People will fight back in this country. The reason they dont in other countries is because most of the time the country is very poor and they either are not allowed to have or cant afford weapons.

Edit: BTW this will never happen because the Tea Baggers are already starting to fracture apart soon they will be fighting among themselves and will eventually become extinct.
