The streets of Detroit so hundreds of postal workers marching through downtown on Tuesday chanting “Five day, no way.” The workers were gathered in the city for the American Postal Workers Union’s national convention and they were protesting a decision being considered that could see Saturday delivery dropped. Officials say it is a necessary change due to the decrease in mail volume. Postal workers argue that many people can’t go two days without mail delivery, such as the elderly who receive medications in the mail.
