Reporter: News 10

A 29-year-old man is dead after a shooting a local union hall--- and the shooter has yet to be caught.
It happened shortly before 2am at the UAW Local 652 in Lansing Township.

Union sources tell us the hall had been rented for a birthday party--- and it was not a union event.

Lansing Township Police Chief Kay Hoffman tells News 10 by the time officers arrived--- everyone had left. The victim was taken to the hospital by party-goers-- where he later died of his injuries.

Police are now working to identify and interview potential witnesses.

We'll have more on this breaking story as it develops on News 10 and wilx.com.
