today is the 100th anniversary of the cherry,illinois mine disaster.

i`ve worked in hot steel forging plants where hell was cooler.

i`ve walked on top of a melt furnace and stared into hell.

but that does`t compare to a man that goes into the earth for his pay.

1. Thanks for posting (R)

I worked an extra shift for Friday midnight. So I went 30 straight hours without sleep. Firday is my regular day off, so I slept the day away. Marta and I went to a movie and dinner. Then I was ready for a good nights sleep. I'll be posting yesterdays and today's history shortly.
