Economic Report: 45 Percent of Women Skip Cancer Screening Due to Prohibitive Costs

Economic Report:

According to the Commonwealth Fund, in 2007 forty five percent of women accrued medical debt or reported difficulties paying medical bills. That same year 36 percent of men reported similar problems. Forty-five percent of women delayed or skipped cancer screenings or dental care because of prohibitive costs.
