Father and reality star of 'Jon and Kate Plus 8,' Jon Gosselin, finally broke his silence this week to People magazine in an attempt to clear up child exploitation and labor law rumors surrounding his family.

This comes one week after the couple found themselves at the center of a Pennsylvania Child Labor investigation after someone called authorities on the family of 8.

Jon Gosselin finally breaks his silence on charges of exploitation.

When asked about the exploitation rumors Jon "heatedly" told People Magazine, ""Exploited? I don't even want to use that word, because I think it's ridiculous."

He continued to say that his family's happiness is his number one priority--even if that meant leaving the show.

I know most of you disagree with Jon and Kate Goseelin on this point (as evidenced by the comments left on the Season Premier post), but I wanted to highlight another interesting article that may have you re-thinking the exploitation issue.

Attorney, CEO of Family Wealth Planning Institute and CNBC legal commentator Alexis Martin Neely published an article on her Family Wealth Secrets site basically praising the Jon and Kate for their tough, but "business savvy" choices in providing for their family.

FULL story at link.
